Now You See Her ....
Colleen is still learning to sit up and, as you saw in the earlier video, we are not afraid to post video of her falling down. However, we have learned it's better that we let her learn while sitting on the bed. So everyone is learning something new each day.

How to Enjoy a Golf Tournament - After Party

Last week we took part in an annual event, even though we didn’t technically take part, except for the food and beer. But that’s what I’m good at. It was the Dino Golf Classic back home in Endwell. It was held at Endwell Greens – the actual home of the famed 7th Tee where Becky and I were married. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Last year I golfed with my Dad, but this year I had to pass since we were just returning from the long Maine trip on Monday and we would have had to drive up Friday night for the early time. Instead we chose the optional food plan and hit the after party only. I admit some performance anxiety may have kept me off the course. Also, last year’s event was the first time in 2 years that I had picked up my clubs. This year would have been the second time, so I had a feeling the game was rusty. The party also gave the baby a chance to be squeezed by a lot of people she had not met yet. As you can see in the picture, she was kind of tired by the end.
We spent Sunday at my parents, again so the baby could get squeezed, and the grandparents could make goo-goo noises. Food intake: Spiedies (2); bag of fries, pizza slices (10+). – a short trip.

Warning - More Babies

If pictures of one baby is cute – how about three? As we mentioned in the Maine post, we stopped to see a friend of Becky's who had twins last July. Unfortunately we were a week early for their birthday(s), but it was great to finally put real smiles on all those pictures we have seen. Overall it was a few hours of enhanced curiosity by each of the girls as they kept trying to figure why there were more small people than usual. It was a great time, but far too short. The fib of the day goes to Erica: “Oh Tim, the girls just happened to be wearing their Red Sox jumpers today.”

Small and Tall McGuinness
The littlest McGuinness met the biggest. Tom came in late Tuesday and grabbed a train into NYC so we could catch the red hot Mets. The Wed. morning there he was on the floor making his little niece crack the big toothless smile. She warmed up quickly to Tom and, once she started talking, it was all “oooo oooo me” and “ga goo I.”

Down East Fourth of July

Most recently she made the 10 hour or maybe it was more like 11 or 12 hours trip to Lubec Me for the fourth of July. Oh the people you'll meet. She faired the trip well and didn't seem to mind meeting and greeting lots of people. She met cousins, aunts, uncles and great grandpa (PaPa). She has now logged close to 10,000 travel miles in her first 4 months -- and fortunately slept for about 9,990 of those.
One our way back from Maine, Colleen had her first night in a motel -- a classy Super 8. We also stopped at in Westbrook to meet Aunt Shirley and Uncle Bill for lunch, and then stopped again in Groten, MA, so we could have a first next-generation meeting of Delandy and McGuinness girls. There we met the twins, Molly and Haley, and had a chance to play and stretch out for a while before heading home.
