Master Crib Carpenter

cribIt is February, so we figured we better get the little Stowaway a place to sleep since we really don't know when she might drop by. I was hoping to get a neighbor's kid in to test the crib in advance, but I guess I'll drop a barbell in there. Barbells must be good for something.

Earlier we kicked off the "Better Get it Done" weekend by getting the car seat installed. They have a monthly program at the local fire department and the people we very nice and helpful in explaining some extra safety tips we didn't realize. The biggest was that they told us not to install the backward mirror since the chair is designed to snap into the spot where you mount the mirror and the baby could smash -- SMASH she said -- her little face. That was enough to put that back in the Target until we can find a better use.

So much to learn.
