Mangini Hat
This was a surprise gift from Melissa and Eric. Really Melissa probably should get the most credit since she had access to Jet's coach Eric Mangini, and players Chad Pennington and Laveranues Coles when they were on Sesame Street last week. The autograph reads, "To Fig, Thanks for being such a great fan, Eric Mangini."
So what if I'm 9 years older than Mangini, it's still cool.

Metters and Gracie
John and Gracie got married. Woooo! You're in the club!
We flew up to Boston on Friday morning and very quickly were reminded about the one thing we didn't miss -- it was so dame cold and windy. And let me add dark. I swear it was night at 4 pm. The whole gang was at the wedding the picture paints a pretty good story of the blurry conditions that we were experiencing. Outside of the wedding, we had a chance to see Becky's cousin Dan and Aunt Debbie over the weekend too.

Chicago - It's Cold
I went out to work convention in Chicago on Sunday through Thursday. I got in early enough on Sunday to head over to Soldier's Field to try to see the Bears and Vikings. It wasn't hard getting a ticket, probably because is was 12 degrees. The game was a disaster with the starting QBs combining for 7 interceptions; both got benched. By the 4th quarter a heat wave rolled in and the temperature hit 20 degrees.
The highlight of the conference week was my rediscovery of Chicago stuffed pizza. Boy I love stuffed pizza.
